Distract

From AP Wiki

Distract is a condition with Action Loss effects.

Causes and Effects

Distract is caused by surprise or forced attention. Many attacks and spells can distract a character.

A distracted character can not select a target during the next ready phase. In combat, this means they do not get to act in the next action phase unless they were selected as the target of another character's action. Out of combat, the character hesitates before performing any other action.

A distracted character is immune to becoming distracted. Therefore, distract can't be applied repeatedly to the same character forcing them to lose multiple turns in a row. At most, a character could be distracted every other turn.

Distract ends after one turn, and there is no way to heal it.
