Dopplegangers are creatures powerful in body magic (specifically transformation). They can turn into anyone they want within their own size. Elves hate dopplegangers. Dopplegangers keep mimics as pets. Mimics are like dopplegangers but not intelligent enough to behave socially so they usually become inanimate objects. Both dopplegangers and mimics are strictly carnivorous, they will never eat anything besides meat, and they usually prefer to eat freshly killed meat.
