Fatigue is a condition with Health/Stamina Loss, Increase Difficulty, Needs Work effects. Fatigued is a common condition caused by lack of rest or overexertion. Fatigued causes persistent stamina loss every turn, including out of combat, and imposes a penalty on all dice rolls.
Fatigue constantly accumulates at a rate of 1/day, and sleep reduces fatigue by 1. Therefore, a character that is getting enough sleep every night would not accumulate any fatigue. However, situations including attacks, conditions, or simply a strenuous day can increase fatigue beyond 1/day. If fatigue increases past the highest severity the character falls unconscious.
A character afflicted with fatigue has a low (10%) chance of getting infected.
The effects of fatigue can be temporarily ignored using potions, drugs, or spells, but fatigue can only be permanently reduced by sleeping.
