A lava slime is a small ooze (aka. a slime). Lava slimes are most commonly found in lava pools, such as in a volcano.

Lava slimes, regardless of number, attack by grabbing a creature and burning them to a crisp. Once dead, the slimes will slowly dissolve everything organic, down to the bones. A single lava slime is dangerous, but generally easy to avoid or shake off. Lava slimes' hive mind trait makes them deadly in large numbers.
