Light mana is mana converted into a bright shining light. Light mana originates in Light springs, which take the form of bright beacons that are most active during the day. The light is blindingly bright at its peak and can be hazardous. Light springs are class 1, dangerous to those not prepared. Light mana odds used by a few creatures to produce flashes of light, which can be used to attract prey or mates. Light spells are used in lighthouses and other beacons, as well as in certain rituals. Light deals burning damage when powerful enough, but it’s primary effect is blinding. Powerful Light mages can illuminate a whole field bright as day in the middle of the night.
