Loot

From AP Wiki

The bulk of your wealth will probably come from loot found on your adventures. Gemstones, jewelry, art and artifacts all can be sold for large prices, if you can find the right buyer.

Looting happens in a room that the GM indicates has loot. Often it can happen after a battle too.

Loot has a rarity that everyone rolls on. If the rarity is 5, everyone would roll 5 dice. Each character combines their successes to get one or more items and their failures to calculate how many coins they found.

Coins happen on an exponential ratio

# of failures Coins
1 10
2 20
3 40
4 80
5 160
6 320
7 640
8 1280
9 2560
10 5120
11 10240

Items happen on an linear scale

# of successes Items
1 1 common
2 2 common
3 1 uncommon
4 1 uncommon & 1 common
5 1 rare
6 1 rare & 1 uncommon
7 1 extraordinary
8 1 extraordinary & 1 uncommon
9 1 extraordinary & 1 rare
10 1 legendary
11 1 legendary & 1 rare

Once you have the rarity of an item, roll on a series of charts depending on the source of the loot to determine the specific item found.
