Orcs are the chosen species of Zydrunas, originating in the Gorgol Plateau in northern Lamaris. Orcs have settled all across Lamaris, though there are few on the other continents.
Orcs are the strongest of the chosen species by weight. Only a gravellon or a much larger drevoz (who are both much heavier) can outmatch an orc. Orcs' strength is used to great effect both in combat and construction. Orc-made structures tend to be very sturdy, as they are usually made of large tree trunks and solid boulders that other species aren't capable of moving. Orcs settlements tend to be smaller remote villages, and they generally have a preference for dry climates.
Orcs are built similarly to humans, although they are bigger and have pale to dark green or red skin. Orcs have an expected lifespan of around 143 years.
