A potion is a liquid that contains medicine, poison, or something with magic powers.
Potions have a variety of uses including healing almost any condition. Magic healing can be used instead, but requires a roll and can result in added stress. Each potion has a rarity and an effect, and is size 1. The rarer the potion, the more powerful its effect is.
Potion rarity is on a scale of:
- Common
- Uncommon
- Rare
- Legendary

Mind Potion | You gain temporary +1 to Reason. You gain temp -1 to Spirit. |
Body Potion | You gain temp +1 to Physique. Side Effect: You gain temp -1 to Reason. |
Soul Potion | You gain temp +1 to Spirit. Side Effect: You gain temp -1 to Physique. |
Running Potion | You gain temporary +1 to Speed. Side Effect: You can’t use luck. |
Impenetrable Potion | You gain resistance to metal damage. Side Effect: You gain weakness to corrosive damage. |
Impermeable Potion | You gain resistance to corrosive damage. Side Effect: You gain weakness to metal damage. |
Grease Potion | You cannot be grappled or restrained. Side Effect: Whenever you use an item, you must make a Physique (1) check to not drop it. |
Bard potion | Potion that puts the drinker in a drunken state. They can perform spectacularly, but as soon as they stop they have a few seconds before they pass out. |
Minor Stamina Potion | restore 5 stamina, next time restore 1 less |
Blinding Oil | when splahed into a target's eyes, they are blinded for 6 rounds |
Moderate Stamina Potion | restore 15 stamina, next time restore 5 less |
Holy water | cure curse |
Stoneskin | +2 armor for 6 rounds |
Blade Venom | apply to a blade, first target gets poison(2) when struck |
Alchemist's Fire | vial & bottle combo which ignites when combined |
Slow Necrosis | Prevent Necrosis from spreading for 1 day |
Major Stamina Potion | restore 30 stamina, next time restore 15 less |
Hover | can hover and move vertically for 4 turns |
Protection Potion | next attack completely blocked |
Cure Paralysis | Cure Paralysis |
