Pure mana

Pure mana is the most common form of mana, present almost everywhere on Mezia as part of the manasphere. Pure mana is not charged with any element, and all elemental mana eventually decays into pure mana.

Pure mana is used by many life forms as an additional source of sustenance (like water and food) and some charge it to create magic effects, like a burning body or to rapidly grow or shrink.

Springs

There are no pure mana springs. Elemental mana from springs decays into pure mana as it gets further from the source, which is how pure mana is replenished.

Spells

There are a few spells that can be cast with pure mana only, but they have a limited effect.

Pure mana can only interact with the world as a neutral force. Pure mana spells therefore focus on forcing objects to move, such as knocking something down or juggling an object in the air.
