Tamberji are the chosen species of Hypatia, originating in the Heralaya Mountains in eastern Lamaris. Tamberji are not common thoughout Mezia, and except for hidden settlements that are exclusively Tamberji, it is unlikely to see more than one in any place.
Tamberji are incredibly secretive, and the least is known about them of the chosen species. Adult tamberji are able to read the minds of anyone they touch, and almost anyone who knows that tries to avoid them. The few who do not live in tamberji communities are met with suspicion and accusations of being criminals. Sometimes those accusations are correct, but tamberji criminals are some of the most difficult to catch.
Tamberji are built similarly to humans, although they are generally slightly bigger and have a tail and fur covering their entire bodies. Tamberji have an expected lifespan of around 106 years.
