This meta template formats text in the hatnote style. Text is indented, italicized, lightened, and moved up.
This template is often used to place a link to another page at the top of an article. This is done to help answer the question: Am I on the right page?
Usage
This template accepts one parameter for text.
Using {{Hatnote|This is a hatnote.}} will produce:
This is a hatnote.
If no text is specified the template defaults to "Hatnote".
Categorization
This template does not categorize the pages it is used on. Templates that use this template should be categorized with Category:Hatnote templates.
