Trap

A trap is an obstacle that harms or slows a character. Traps come in four levels.

Level 1

A level 1 trap causes minor injury or slows or stops a characters movement. Some examples of level 1 traps include a snare or muddy terrain.

Level 2

A level 2 trap causes moderate or major injury, and may also slow or stop the character. Some examples of level 2 traps include a trigger for arrows or poison gas.

Level 3

A level 3 trap is slow but fatal. Some examples of level 3 traps include a collapsing room (with or without spikes) or deep quicksand.

Level 4

A level 4 trap is fast and fatal. Some examples of level 4 traps include spike pits or disintegration beams.
