The Yakul people live in cave cities in the mountains, far from all but the most dedicated travelers. They are highly superstitious and openly hostile to visitors. They create everything they need from the creatures they hunt, the mines, and the sparse vegetation growing at high altitudes. The hardiest of the northern people, their short, stout appearance resembles dwarves more than humans. They are strong, fierce fighters, but few practice magic.
