We enter the pyramid into a large ornate Hallway. The gold doors dont seem to be locked save for one strange doorway which is shimmering at the end of the hallway. There are also four small bowls that contain crystals. Upon touching the crystals you vanish.
There is a pounding at the entrance, it is Onterius attempting to get back in through the main door through but is blocked by some kind of force-field. He touched the crystal first.
Yavari attempts to communicate with the wild creature that is Onterius. It doesn't work.
Hank attempts to communicate with Ontarius through an Oujia board, but Ontarius says nothing of merit. He is presumed dead by the party ignoring him. The crystal will only teleport organic matter it seems.
The party decides to open one of the doors in the hallway and sends Fingie in as a sort of Amos Moses gatorbait-esque tactic. Billie Jean opens the rest of the doors. All doors lead to dead ends. nothing happens. Billie Jean does find the impression of a doorway in one of the hallways ends. The phantom door disappears when light is shown on it, hence the first door must be closed in order to access the secret door.
Fingie and Billie Jean do just this. Fingie and Billie Jean have disappear. Blund and Driden are with Fingie and Billie Jean. Hank Holk performs the same test with a piece of paper then scorpion leg. It has to be a living creature to open the door. Hank, Evren, and Yavari go to the door across the hallway. They see a bright shining door in front of them. Upon opening the door, all three are sucked into the portal.
Fingie and Billie encounter a pool. Fingie attempts to swim in it, but the pool drags them down. Billie saves Fingie, but some of the water is attached to Fingie ala it is a slime substance. They attempt to ford the pool via "mecha shiva"/Chicken style. this is not successful. after throwing a torch in the "water", the water slurps it in uninterrupted
In the other room, Hank , Evren, and Yavari are in basically an nice room that is very bright with clouds/sky in it and a single climbable pillar. Evren begins climbing up the pillar, the higher the goes, the lighter he feels being yanked from the pillar. This causes him to panic, the clouds themselves are pulling him up. Hank shoots ball bearing up there and Evren catches it. There is yelling competition to determine whether Evren is alive. he is. Hank climbs up to the pillar with Yavari behind him. they are tied together. they climb until they reach a point until theyre floating. Hank reaches the top of the pillar thanks to Yavari's death grip. Yavari crawls around the pillar until we hit the bridge. Hank and Yavari attempt to save Evren and fail. Evren falls but is ok and on the bridge. Evren opens the door and pulls Yavari into the doorway. they make it through the first room. Hank -1 Supply. Hank and Yavari are still covered in cloud balls. Yavari having the most of them.
Going back to the other team, Fingie and Billie Jean decide to take blobs and throw them at the crystals in the wall. This doesn't work save for clearing 10 or 15 blobs. After exercising their second amendment rights, the two dump some crystals into the water and notice that the globs retreat to the other side of the pool. They decide to use the dead crystals from their previous attempts of slime harvesting and use them as a slime repellent to ford the pool. Specifically one on each butt cheek for protection. Billie Jean swims to the other side with his crystalline body armor successfully. Billie Jean chucks the crystals back and they repeat the process for all party members: It turns out dead gems can be re energized with new gems. They make it through the first room.
Fingie and Billie enter a narrow hallway going to the left. After inspection, they find nothing. There is indeed something as Fingie activates a trap that floods the hall with water. They hold to the right. They step on another pressure plate and it fills up with water faster. they double back , go straight, then right dead end. Basically they hold right unless they encounter a dead end. They step on another trap = more water. they find a treasure chest, Fingie opens it and finds a bunch of blue coins. Thinking it will absorb the water, Fingie touches a blue coin to the water which does nothing. After more back tracking, they take a left. This is confusing the writer who lost track of directions. Eventually they reach a door and statue. the statue is a man with an out stretched hand filled with the blue coins. Fingie takes the coins, which locks the door with a grate. at this point this maze is 75 % full. inside the statue's hands is a key hole. They run again through the maze. They find another chest with a key in it. They put the key into the statue, and escape through the unbarred door. with barely any breathing room.
