Stun is a condition with Action Loss effects. Stun could lead to Unconscious if left untreated.

Causes and Effects

Stun is caused by shock or head trauma. Many attacks and spells can stun a character.

A stunned character can not take any actions. In combat, this means they do not select a target during the next ready phase or act in the next action phase. Out of combat, the character hesitates before performing any other action.

Severity

Stun severity increases when the stun condition is applied to one who already has it, and decreases when one is healed. Stun severity does not decrease over time, but the condition ends when one has been stunned for the full duration.

When applying stun to an already stunned creature, the "timer" does not reset. So if a creature is at Severity 1 and is stunned, they will only be stunned for one additional turn, not two.

Healing

Stun can be healed with potions, spells, or by waiting it out.
