Veistra are the chosen species of Vix, originating in the Xian Islands between northern Lamaris and Xersia. Veistra have a strong preference for living in hot areas, and so are very uncommon in cooler climates.
Veistra are a highly emotional species. They tend to laugh harder, cry louder, and get angrier than any other species around. Their culture is strongly tied to worshipping Vix, and involves many elaborate ceremonies. Veistran warriors are bold and feirce, though they are not known for their stealth.
Veistra are built similarly to humans, although they have dark purple or crimson scales and horns. Veistra have an expected lifespan of around 155 years.
