Introducing Far Saada
- Blund Forgebreaker - here for adventure
- Hank Holk - here investigating corruption
- Billie Jean - local miner, at a loss for money
- Yavari Conche - local mail-man and naturalist, wants to adventure
The group goes to Shalamayne's Tavern to answer a flyer for a caravan crossing the Defersi Desert
- Onterius Potesh describes the journey and introduces Chaz Deresoli
- Blund goes to Chaz to try out for guard duty
- Yavari goes to Chaz, acts very suspicious, Chaz is not impressed
- Hank talks to Yavari about his skills and offers to talk to Chaz for him
- Billie shoots down the scorpion tail to show off, pays all his coin for it and owes more, but Chaz agrees to take him for guard duty
- Blund and Yavari show off their combat skills and are hired as guards
- Hank congratulates Yavari and sets off
Exploring Far Saada
- Billie goes home to rest
- Blund goes shopping, finds farsaadi knives, haggles and buys one for 40 silver
- Hank goes to his clergy friend, gets a blessing of Asuanna to always be able to find water and a request to return for the winter solstice festival
- Yavari walks through town, stumbles upon a man with an unruly camel, calms it and buys it for 60 silver, names him Bluey
Setting out
- Hank and Billie chat, Hank tries to show off his prestige but Billie is clueless and unimpressed. Hank offers him a deal and Billie needs the money so he agrees
- Town guards are looking through cargo/people leaving. Hank smoozes up a woman guard to avoid drawing the attention of the rest of them
- The rest show up for their guard duty and the caravan sets off
- Also Evren Ozdemir shows up
The desert
- Blund and Evren shit-talk goblins
- Billie finds a camel leg in the desert
- Yavari and Billie talk about sand sharks
Sand shark attack
- Everyone tries to climb onto one of the cargo sledges for safety
- Billie gets a good shot in with his rifle
- The shark bites Blund and gives him a decent wound
- The party has a hard time getting through its armor
- The shark attacks Bluey, also causing it to bleed pretty bad
- Evren does a jumping stab attack from the sledge and kills the shark
- Blund heals himself (2 gear)
- Yavari heals Bluey (1 gear)
- They collect sand shark fins and teeth, Evren keeps the biggest tooth
- Dawn approaches so they sit around the campfire eating shark fin and chatting
